
Conego Jose Bizon
Canon José Bizon, a priest of the Archdiocese of São Paulo, holds a Master's degree in Ecumenism from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas in Rome. He is a member of the coordination team of the Fraternity Movement of Christian Churches (MOFIC) and is responsible for the Catholic side of the National Commission for Catholic-Jewish Religious Dialogue (DCJ). He is also the Coordinator of the Ecumenical and Interreligious Dialogue Team in the Southern Region 1 of the CNBB (National Conference of Bishops of São Paulo) and the Archdiocese of São Paulo. He is a founding member of the Abrahamic Family. He was a professor at the Faculty of Theology of Our Lady of the Assumption, Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUCSP). He is a member of the Interreligious Forum of the São Paulo State Department of Justice for a Culture of Peace and Freedom of Belief. He is also the Director of the House of Reconciliation and pastor of the Parish of Saint Peter the Apostle in Jardim Independência. He has edited five books, two in the area of ecumenism, two in the area of interreligious dialogue and one in the area of priestly spirituality.
