Theoretical modules and one practical module, totaling 16 hours of training; 10.5 hours of theory and 5.5 hours of practice.
Workshops and Seminars offered biannually with the main objective of exchanging experiences within the Halal segment, discussing the best forms of cooperation between certification bodies, as well as the Halal logistics system in Brazil and Latin America, inspection, accreditation and interaction with public and private authorities, the volumes of Brazilian exports and the development of the Halal industry in Brazil and worldwide.
Course The Islamic World: Society, Culture and State
Taught annually at the Rio Branco Institute, in Brasília, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty), divided into five thematic modules with a total course load of 25 (twenty-five) hours/class.
With a total course workload of 340 (three hundred and forty minutes) or 7 class hours, distributed across seven thematic modules.
Lectures held monthly, on topics related to the Halal segment, with guest experts, with a workload ranging from 2 to 6 hours.
Support and development of research, studies and experimental activities together with technicians and researchers from Brazilian and international universities and institutes aiming to contribute to the development and improvement of the global Halal segment.
The legal basis for free courses is Presidential Decree No. 5,154 of July 23, 2004, Art. 1 and 3 and ORDINANCE No. 008 of June 25, 2002, published in the OFFICIAL JOURNAL – SC – No. 16,935 – June 27, 2002. The free distance learning course is a form of non-formal education of variable duration, designed to provide workers with knowledge that allows them to professionalize, qualify and update themselves for work.
The Federal Constitution, in its Article 205/CF, “caput”, provides that education is a right for all and will be encouraged by society.
This practice is also defended by Article 206/CF, which provides that education will be provided based on certain principles and in its section II:
“the freedom to learn, teach, research and disseminate thoughts, art and knowledge”.
Free Course Law No. 9,394/96 – Guidelines and Bases of National Education became part of the Professional Education modality.
Vocational Education is a non-formal education of variable duration designed to provide workers with knowledge that allows them to professionalize, qualify, and update their skills for the workplace. According to Law No. 9394/96, Decree No. 5.154/04, and CEE Deliberation 14/97 (CEE Indication 14/97), so-called "Free" courses do not require prior authorization to operate or subsequent recognition by the competent Education Council. There is no specific legislation regulating these courses; therefore, free courses are not subject to regulation by the Ministry of Education. There is no requirement for prior education. The Free Course category serves the population with the objective of offering rapid professionalization for various areas of activity in the job market, such as IT, Customer Service, Secretarial Work, Web Design, Security, Languages, Cooking, Dressmaking, Aesthetics, Beauty, etc. "Unstructured" means there is no requirement for course load (which can vary from a few hours to several months), subject matter, duration, or prior diploma. Therefore, the offering of these courses does not depend on authorization from this Ministry, such as institutional accreditation, authorization, and course recognition. Schools offering this type of course are entitled to issue certificates to students in accordance with Law No. 9394/96; Decree No. 5.154/04;
CEE Resolution 14/97 (CEE Indication 14/97). Please note that free courses are not affiliated with or recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC/CAPES). These certificates are legally valid for various purposes, but cannot be validated, endorsed, or endorsed by schools recognized by MEC/CAPES. The National Council of Education's case law has been to declare them equivalent, according to broad and flexible rules. Cooperatives, companies, and self-employed professionals may also offer these courses and issue certificates.
