• Courses are divided into:

Theoretical modules and a practical module, totaling 16 hours of training; 10.5 hours of theory and 5.5 hours of practice.



• Workshop and Halal Seminars:

Workshops and Seminars offered every six months with the main objective of exchanging experiences within the Halal segment, debating the best forms of cooperation between certification bodies, as well as the Halal logistics system in Brazil and Latin America, inspection, accreditation and interaction with public and private authorities, the volumes of Brazilian exports and the development of the Halal industry in Brazil and in the world.

Course The Islamic World: Society, Culture and State

Taught annually at the premises of the Rio Branco Institute, in Brasília, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty) divided into five thematic modules with a total course load of 25 (twenty-five) hours/class.


• Course The Islamic World: Scenario, Opportunities and Business.

With a total course load of 340 (three hundred and forty minutes) or 7 class hours, distributed in seven thematic modules.


• Thematic Lectures at partner Universities and Institutes.

Lectures held monthly, with topics related to the Halal segment, with invited specialists, with a workload ranging from 2 to 6 hours.


• Support and Development of Studies and Experimental Activities with Researchers from partner Universities and Institutes.

Support and development of research, studies and experimental activities together with technicians and researchers from Brazilian and international universities and institutes in order to contribute to the development and improvement of the worldwide Halal segment.


• Course Regulations:

Open courses are based on Presidential Decree No. 5.154, of July 23, 2004, Art. 1 and 3 and ORDINANCE No. 008, of 06/25/2002 published in the OFFICIAL DIARY – SC – No. 16.935 – 27.06 .2002. The open distance course is a form of non-formal education of varying duration, designed to provide workers with knowledge that will allow them to become professional, qualify and update themselves for work.

The Federal Constitution in its Article 205/CF, “caput”, provides that education is everyone's right and will be encouraged by society.

Such a practice is also defended by Article 206/CF, which provides that teaching will be provided based on certain principles and its item II:

“the freedom to learn, teach, research and disseminate thoughts, art and knowledge”.

Free Course Law nº 9.394/96 – Guidelines and Bases of National Education became part of the Professional Education modality.

Vocational Education is a form of non-formal education of varying duration, designed to provide workers with knowledge that will allow them to become professional, qualify and update themselves for work. According to Law no. 9394/96, Decree no. 5.154/04 and Deliberation CEE 14/97 (Indication CEE 14/97) mention that the so-called “Open” courses do not require prior authorization for operation or subsequent recognition by the competent Board of Education. There is no specific legislation regulating these courses, therefore, open courses are not subject to regulation by the Ministry of Education. There is no prior schooling requirement. The Free Course category caters to the population with the aim of offering rapid professionalization for various areas of activity in the labor market, e.g. IT, Customer Service, Secretarial, Webdesign, Security, Languages, Cooking, Cutting & Sewing, Aesthetics, Beauty, etc. Free means that there is no obligation to: workload that can vary from a few hours to several months in length, disciplines, length of time and previous diploma. Thus, the offer of these courses does not depend on authorizing acts by this Ministry, namely: institutional accreditation, authorization and recognition of the course. Schools that offer this type of course are entitled to issue a certificate to the student in accordance with Law No. 9394/96; Decree No. 5154/04;

Deliberation EEC 14/97 (Indication EEC 14/97). Remembering that Free Course has no bond or recognition by MEC/CAPES. These Certificates are legally valid for various purposes, but cannot be validated, validated or endorsed by schools recognized by MEC/CAPES. The jurisprudence of the National Council of Education has been in the sense of declaring their equivalence, according to broad and flexible rules. Cooperatives, Companies and Autonomous Professionals can also teach such courses and issue certificates.
