The courses are divided into eight theoretical modules and one practical module, totaling 16 hours of training; with 10.5 hours of theory and 5.5 hours of practice.
Halal Workshops and Seminars
Workshops and seminars offered semi-annually with the main objective of exchanging experiences within the Halal segment. The content addresses the best forms of cooperation between certification bodies, the Halal logistics system in Brazil and Latin America, inspection, accreditation and interaction with public and private authorities, Brazilian export volumes and the development of the Halal industry in Brazil and worldwide.
Course “The Islamic World: Society, Culture and State”
Taught annually at the Rio Branco Institute in Brasília, in partnership with FAMBRAS and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty), it is divided into five thematic modules with a total workload of 25 (twenty-five) class hours.
Course “The Islamic World and Agribusiness: Scenarios, opportunities and consumers”
In partnership with FAMBRAS and CNA – the Brazilian Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock, the course has a total workload of 340 (three hundred and forty minutes) or 7 class hours, distributed across four thematic modules.

Lectures held at partner institutions on topics related to the Halal segment, with invited experts, with durations ranging from 2 to 6 hours.
Support and development of studies and experimental activities in collaboration with partner researchers and institutes.

Halal Technical-Scientific Congress – CTecHalal
CTecHalal aims to disseminate technical and scientific work developed in various national and international institutions and organizations, always published in the event's proceedings. In addition to the presentation of technical and scientific papers, the program includes mini-courses, conferences, and lectures by specialists addressing important and current topics. It is a rare opportunity for the effective exchange of experiences between researchers, companies, professors, students, and professionals.
Halal PEC
Conducted in partnership with FAMBRAS Halal, the Program's main objective is to raise awareness about Halal among students in technical, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses at educational institutions in different countries through lectures, study groups, academic weeks, or other activities. It focuses on the areas of Food, Veterinary Medicine, Agronomy, Animal Science, Cosmetics, Chemistry, Nutrition, Hospitality and Tourism, Law, Economics, and Biotechnology – which train professionals who will work in the industry and who will be potential clients of Halal certification bodies in the future.
IHA-PD (Professional Development)
The Professional Development Program (IHA-PD) was created to empower FAMBRAS Group employees in partnership with the Human Resources department. Training is provided through courses offered by renowned national and international institutions that are partners of the International Halal Academy.
Forum Halal Anuga Select Brazil
During Anuga Select Brazil, the largest food and beverage trade show in the Americas, IHA is hosting the Anuga Select Brazil Halal Forum. Through panels, lectures, and free mini-courses, it brings together experts to share trends, opportunities, and innovations related to the Halal market. The event is part of the official trade show program.
