Sheikh Mohammed Al Bukai

Representative of an Islamic Institution interested in Dialogue

Sheikh Mohammad Al Bukai, a Syrian, holds a degree in Islamic and Arabic Studies, a postgraduate degree in Islamic Studies in Spanish, and a master's degree in Islamic Law and Politics. He arrived in Brazil in 2007, served as Sheikh in several mosques, and is currently Sheikh of the Mesquita Brasil. Religious director of the UNI and a member of the Interreligious Forum of the São Paulo State Department of Justice, he has participated in national and international events on Islam and interreligious dialogue.
