Sheikh Mohammed Al Bukai

Representative of an Islamic institution interested in the dialogue.

Sheikh Mohammad Al Bukai, a Syrian national, holds degrees in Islamic and Arabic Studies, a postgraduate degree in Islamic Studies in Spanish, and a master's degree in Islamic Law and Politics. He arrived in Brazil in 2007, served as Sheikh in various mosques, and is currently the Sheikh of the Brazil Mosque. He is the religious director of UNI and a member of the Inter-Religious Forum of the São Paulo State Department of Justice, and has participated in national and international events on Islam and interreligious dialogue.
