IHA at Gulfood 2026: Internationalization, Market and Knowledge

From January 26th to 30th, the International Halal Academy (IHA) was present at Gulfood 2026, one of the largest and most relevant global events in the food and beverage sector, held in Dubai. The IHA was represented by its president, Ali Zoghbi, and by Tamer Mansour, Director of Internationalization.

With a record participation of approximately 8,000 exhibiting companies and more than 140 Brazilian companies, Brazil's presence was significant and successful, reinforcing international interest in the country and the Halal market.

For IHA, participation exceeded expectations. Throughout the fair, strategic meetings were held with companies and industry associations, strengthening the dialogue on the importance of technical knowledge, training, and the development of new sectors and companies to expand Brazil's presence in the global Halal market.

Gulfood was the subject of the opening of the new season of Momento Halal, an IHA production that features interviews with Halal experts. In the first episode of the year, Omar Chahine, Director of Commercial Intelligence at FAMBRAS Halal Certificadora, and Tamer Mansour were invited to discuss the current state of the global Halal market and the business opportunities generated by Gulfood.

The interview is available on the International Halal Academy's YouTube channel.
